Projects

Create a project, set its branding and widget appearance, restrict where the widget can load, and manage your team.

A project is the top-level container for one product integration. It owns your branding, the domains the widget is allowed to load on, your team, and a single widget style. If you ship more than one product, give each its own project.

Creating a project

Sign in at app.inboard.dev and create a project, giving it a name that identifies the product it's for. The project is where you'll build your install templates and where your embed keys are issued.

Branding and widget appearance

Each project carries its own branding — name, logo, and colours — which flows into the widget your installers see. There is one widget style per project: a project has a single appearance, so if you need genuinely different looks, use separate projects.

For what the widget renders and how it loads, see Widget. For fine-grained appearance and theming, see Custom styling.

Allowed domains

Allowed domains restrict where your widget may load. By listing the domains you expect to embed on, you prevent the widget from being mounted on sites you don't control. Requests from domains outside the list are rejected, so add every domain where you legitimately embed before going live.
