Billing & plans

How Inboard pricing works — sessions, plans, credit packs, and invoices.

Inboard bills by session, so you pay for real install activity rather than seats or page views. This page explains what counts as a session, what each plan unlocks, and how to manage your subscription.

For current prices, see the pricing page — the numbers below are intentionally left to that page.

What counts as a session

A session is one installer's run through one of your install templates. When an installer opens the widget and starts the install, that's a session. Loading a page without starting, or an installer returning to finish the same attempt, does not start a new billable session.

Your plan includes a monthly allowance of sessions. If you go over, credit packs cover the overage so installs never stop working mid-month — you top up credits and they're drawn down as needed.

Free

The Free plan includes 50 installs per month and the full builder — define requirements, publish an install template, embed the widget, and read analytics. It's enough to launch a real integration and see whether installers complete it.

Pro

Pro raises your monthly session allowance and adds credit packs so you can absorb spikes in install activity without interruption.

Business

Business is for teams running Inboard in production at scale. On top of Pro it unlocks:

  • Custom domain (Business plan) — serve the widget and install pages from your own domain.
  • Team members (Business plan) — invite teammates to a project so more than one person can manage install templates.
  • API access (Business plan) — automate Inboard programmatically. See the API reference.

Upgrading and downgrading

You can change plans at any time from the billing area:

  • Upgrading takes effect immediately, so the higher allowance and any unlocked features are available right away.
  • Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep what you've paid for until then. If you downgrade away from a Business feature (custom domain, team, API access), make sure you no longer depend on it before the change lands.

Invoices

Every billing period generates an invoice you can view and download from the billing area, including any credit packs purchased during the period. Invoices show your plan, the sessions counted, and overage credits used.
